I LOVE winter veggies! What's not to love? They have massive vitamins, flavor and will fill you up with little calories compared to most winter side dishes. The splurge ingredient are the parsnip and the turnip. The turnip adds a nice spicy aspect while the parsnip has a sweet side. Both pair nicely with the sweet potato and other veggies.
